Two friends are describing their favorite snack.
Tika  : What’s your favorite snack?
Tami  : Oh, My favorite snack is  popcorn. I love to eat while  watching TV
Tika  : I’ve always wanted to know  how to make it. Can you tell me how you make it?
Tami  : Sure. It’s really easy. First, put a little oil in a pan. Then heat the oil. When the oil’s hot but not too hot, put in the kernels.
Tika  : Ok. And what’s next?
Tami  : Next, when you see they’re starting to pop, cover the pan. Shake the pan a little until the noise stops. After that, pour it into a bowl. Finally, sprinkle a little salt over it and enjoy!
Tika  : It sounds very easy to me

Many professional sports team have recently added a new member to their organization-a nutritionist. That’s because athletes have become aware that food affect performance. You don’t have to be an athlete to notice this effect. If you’ve ever skipped breakfast and then tried to clean the house, you know that you need food for energy. Here are some tips about eating to increase your physical performance:
Eat enough food. Your body needs a certain number of calories each day. If you’re too thin, you’ll often feel tired and you’ll be more likely to get sick
Avoid eating foods that are high in simple carbohydrates, that is, sugar. A chocolate bar will first give you energy, but then it will leave you feeling even more tired.
